OWN A CASK OF OUR WHISKY
In 2016 we were the first distillers to make gin on the Isle of Skye. This is the start of our whisky journey and we will be only the 3rd whisky stills on Skye. We’re currently in the process of expanding our distillery in Portree and we will be starting whisky production in mid-late 2025. We have already started to build our dream, our foundations are laid and equipment has been ordered. It’s an exciting time to be involved at the start of our whisky journey.
LIMITED EDITION OF 25 CASKS PER ISSUE
We are offering an investment opportunity and to own an Isle of Skye Distillers whisky cask that are released in exclusive and in very small batches. These will be issued in limited editions and each edition will be of only 25 casks.
Our first casks are about buying a little bit of history, these will be highly desired on the market for re-sale to collectors or a re-purchased from us when matured, and you are ready to sell. We truly believe that owning a cask of Isle of Skye Distillers whisky is an investment in your and our future, a chance to create something truly unique, and an opportunity to share your love of Skye with friends and family.

- Cask are first fill ex- Bourbon 200L, Each edition may feature other cask types such as American oak, Sherry and Port wood casks, mid European and French, each giving our whisky a distinctive character

Eilean a' Cheò
To perfectly complement our Misty Isle Gin, we are calling and branding our Whisky EILEAN A’ CHEÒ which translates in Gaelic to ‘The Island of Mist’ a perfect brand name! We already have it embossed on all of our existing bottles. Our unique bottle design and packaging is being kept under wraps until launch day. There will be no mistaking that this will be a single malt whisky from the Isle of Skye.
PEACE OF MIND
– Fill your cask in person at our distillery.
– If you can’t be there in person we will send you a video.
– Your name and cask number stencilled on cask.
– Cask Ownership Certificate issued.
– Upon fill, a Whisky Cask Delivery Order (DO) will be issued and that serves as proof of ownership and title deed.
– Casks will always be in our possession within the distillery estate in Portree, Isle of Skye.
– Come visit anytime and be photographed standing next to your cask.
– Distillery owners happy to answer any questions you have.
DISTILLERY
We’re building our whisky production in two planned phases:
Phase 1 of our whisky production plans will be on our existing distillery site. Our foundations are in, and we start production in late 2025/early 2026. Our whisky will be ready in 3 years’ time from first distillation. The above image of the distillery is our Phase 1 building in Portree.
Phase 2 expansion is into a larger purpose built £6m distillery on the outskirts of Portree, that will encompass a larger capacity distillery, restaurant, visitor experience, staff accommodation and gift shop.
