From our family home in Portree on the Isle of Skye, we have created a range of spirits which we are proud to call our own. Distilling this beautiful craft gin anywhere else but here on Skye was never in question.

Provenance is everything – that abiding sense of belonging and community. Over time, we have perfected our recipe; a marriage of waters from the Storr Lochs and the right balance of the finest botanicals.

It has taken patience and judgement, but some things cannot be rushed.

We have perfected our recipe, a marriage of waters from the Storr Lochs and the right balance of the finest botanicals. When available, our juniper berries are hand-foraged from various wild locations around Skye. Our juniper is then slowly distilled in traditional gas-fired copper pot stills for approximately 8 hours, then vapour infused with our botanicals. 

We use 11 botanicals in total including; Juniper, coriander, grains of paradise, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, lemon peel, cassia bark to name some and one which is top secret and only comes from the Isle of Skye and grown at altitude! Most of our botanicals are sourced within an ¼ mile of the distillery.

Our new bottle captures our iconic island, culture and heritage. The swirls for the Fairy Pools, the copper coin in the cork for our beautiful copper stills that produce our amazing liquids, the Gaelic inscriptions for our language, name and location, the shape of our majestic island of Skye on the base and the contour lines on the labels for our iconic mountains. The glass has everything captured to show the world our iconic island and home.
